Madeline Stechner is joining Rocky Knoll as the new Director of Clinical Services. Her adventure in healthcare started in 1992 when she became a Certified Nursing Assistant in a long term facility; she now has her Masters in Nursing Administration. Madeline's professional history includes four years as a Nurse Manager of an Acute Treatment Unit at a Behavior Health hospital in Milwaukee County, twelve years of which seven were as a Supervisor in an ICU/CCU, and ten years exclusively in a cardiology clinic as a Nurse Clinician/Physician Extender.
She has been happily married for 38 years and has 3 daughters with nine grandchildren and a dog named Duke. Madeline and her husband bought their home four years ago in Sheboygan County, so she looks forward to finally working within this community, along with the staff and residents of Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.
Madeline's nursing career has been dedicated to the delivery of high quality, reliable systems of care and developing the next generation of nurses and health care professionals to lead in these ever-changing times. Her passion and drive for long term care is expressed in a quote from an unknown author: “Our residents do not live in our workplace; we work in their home”. These words will be her guide as the Director at Rocky Knoll.
