Candace has been a Social Worker with Rocky Knoll since June 2024 and is currently providing medically related social services for residents on 1 North and 2 North.
Candace earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in 2011. She started her career helping homeless families with school aged children and transitioned into working with adults with disabilities and older adults receiving services at home. Candace began her skilled nursing career in 2019 and has served as Director of Social Services and long-term and short-term Rehabilitation Social Worker. Her favorite part of social work in a nursing home is meeting with residents and their loved ones individually to ensure they feel listened to and cared for. She hopes to bring peace of mind to residents and their families as they transition from the community into long term nursing home care.
In her free time, Candace enjoys spending time with her husband Jared and two sons Sebastian and Oberon and extended family and friends. Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking gourmet dishes, baking pies, antiquing and camping.
