Rocky Knoll recognizes the desire for residents to visit with their family and friends. We know that the past few months have been difficult on our residents and their families as a result of the COVID-19 restrictions. In order to enhance our resident’s quality of life and bring smiles to their faces and yours, Rocky Knoll is constructing an outdoor visiting booth.

The visiting booth will be a temporary structure, made out of plexi-glass that will aide with accommodating visits between residents, family members and friends, while keeping everyone safe. Visiting booth visits will be scheduled Monday-Friday from 9am-3:15pm. Visitation outside of these hours will be considered on a case by case basis by the Social Services team.

The residents will be brought to the visiting booth at their designated appointment time by a staff member. Depending on the needs of the resident, the staff member may or may not stay in the enclosure with the resident during the visit. Residents will remain within the plexi-glass enclosure at all times during the visit. We are requesting that visitors do not gather outside of the booth until their designated appointment time. Visitors will remain outside of the plexi-glass enclosure and are asked to follow the social distancing recommendations of six-feet from each other. No touching of the plexi-glass with hands or lips will be allowed. Our intention is to keep the visiting booth free from contact of the virus or other germs that could make other visitors ill. Rocky Knoll reserves the right to suspend and/or revoke any visits in the event that families and friends don’t comply with our infection control procedures.

Rocky Knoll will be consistent and fair to all visitors. Visitation will be limited to accommodate the appointment schedule. We ask that you please be considerate of the next visit scheduled and the staff’s need to transport residents back and forth in a timely manner. Following each visit, staff will be wiping down the interior walls of the plexi-glass enclosure (the wall which the resident sits behind). We are requesting that visitors wipe down the exterior walls of the visiting booth following their visit, with products that will be provided by the facility. Our maintenance staff will thoroughly clean the visiting booth (inside and out) in the morning prior to the start of scheduled visits and again during the lunch hour prior to afternoon visits.

We ask that visitors do not bring any items for the resident to the visiting booth. All items for residents must be labeled and taken to the A-1 entrance door.

To schedule an appointment please contact Taylor Wilkens at (920) 449-1251 or Kelly Rabe at (920) 449-1250.

We look forward to “seeing” you soon! Thank you!
